3 Sep 2017 What is TTDPatch? TTDPatch has originally been written by Josef Drexler. It is a most excellent patch that modifies Transport Tycoon Deluxe in a way that almost feels you are playing a completely new game. Have a look at the website at www.ttdpatch.net/ or at the TTDPatch Manual.

I've released an HTML Help file, which you can download from www.owenrudge.net/download/download.php?t=2&id=8. The script, written in PHP, is a bit of a hack in some ways, but works - I'm not releasing this just now though. I will release new versions of the CHM manual as new versions of TTDPatch come out.

(In order of appearance.) Josef Drexler. Josef is the main author of TTDPatch. He started the project in 1996 and made it public in May 1999. He's working on it whenever he has spare time, and wrote a large chunk of the code. If a feature is not credited to someone else, it was written by Josef. He also maintains this manual,
If you want to find out why it does this, and how you're supposed to take advantage of the changes, you'll just have to find the entry in the manual that explains it. Note that TTDPatch does not change any of TTD's files. You can write-protect the TTD executable to be sure. Instead, it will copy the old executable (either ttdx.exe , tycoon.exe or gamegfx.exe ) to ttdload(W).ovl , and modify this copy only.
