hi all, i have a Lexus is200 1999 model sports luxury edition Auto, i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about taking the auto box out and puting the manual gear box and clutch in???? also how easy it is as i am not a mechanic!!! Also if anyone has information on how much this would roughly cost

31 Oct 2010 firstly i never even knew you could get IS300 saloons over here i thought they were all the sportcross estate things, now i've found them im suprised
might work out cheaper to convert from auto to manual but chances are it might not run reliably so why dont you just get a manual car as they are going for . Which I would like an is300, but then the fact is if I got one I'd then want to convert it to manual which will cost even more, so it's just like a big cycle
