Why the hell did the 'brains' at FD incorporate into FD 7 that pdf/adobe feature which converts the work into a file that most servers have trouble coping with? It's about a zillion kilobytes. Hi. I have a new laptop with Windows Vista. I need to save several files to PDF to send to colleagues, but can't seem to create PDFs at all. I need to save a Final Draft (a screenplay writing program) document, but every time I choose the 'Save to PDF' option in the File menu I get the error 'Printer name
20 Jul 2015 FD8 users should use this workaround: Choose Print from the File menu or File ribbon tab; In the Print dialog click the Printer Name dropdown menu to choose a printer; Choose Microsoft Print to PDF; (if this is not an option see I have Windows 10 and I don't have the Microsoft Print to PDF driver installed.)
