1 Aug 2006 I recently put in a Crane XR-1 Electronic conversion in my '62 Corvette. The distributor is a 340 dual-point. I can't say for sure what the problem is but when I went to go buy the XR1 the guy at the parts counter said they have had A LOT of problems with them. It would probably be easiest to change back to
